अभी आप लोगो का फ़ायदा फ़्या. This is a Movie which releases on 9th of November,2016 and I watched it recently. It's an interesting,suspense oriented movies.The story line is really good and the movie also has Hollywood A-lister (Amy Adams) as its heroine who stars as a rebellious linguistics professor who takes up the task of communicating with alien visitors with high intelligence but no common language. In a dizzying race against time, she goes up against military and political powers that threaten global security. The film is directed by Denis Villeneuve who made movies like Enemy, Prisoners, Sicario(another great movie) previously. And is produced by full-blown Hollywood studios which makes me question why this movie was released in India through a PVR Director's Rare attempt. But anyways, I loved the movie. The CGI is top notch and most important of all is this movie has been shot in an interesting way unlike your regular sci-fi flick from Hollywood where everything just concentrates on "action" or "scary scenes". I watched Arrival at a Goa Theatres and the audience was pretty much into the movie. The story is about aliens who come to Earth,but unlike Hollywood movies where they land up in New York or L.A. and want to destroy Earth, our director has shown aliens landing in China and America, where Amy Adams' character is a professor of linguistics who gets called up by the Army to translate the language of these aliens. And here comes my favourite part of this movie. The movie shows how these Aliens come from different parts of universe with different pattern on their skin and even a blind man can read that pattern as a language. The movie also shows how humans have changed with technology and science. How most of the human race is isolated in small places with no modern science left in them or they are living in isolated villages. The most important part is how the world's government has changed so much during this time, where it is all about money, power and trust. Military are not what they used to be when the aliens came, so one must really think before acting out of anger or fear. I guess all this makes for a great movie for me because it's not about action but more about thought. And can be appreciated by anyone who likes Sci-fi movies in general. This is the first ever movie which has been shot in my native language Marathi,so I must say that the director has done a great job by choosing this language. On the downside, there are no fiery scenes, just one action sequence which I guess is provided purposely to keep all audiences throughout the world interested. Amy Adams is just brilliant with her diction and she is an excellent actress. Jeremy Renner who plays a character along with Amy Adams is also brilliant with his powerful accent and body language. I don't think it needs any kind of special mentioning for Forest Whitaker who plays Colonel Weber because he can pull off any role perfectly.
